Biographie

Sam Aflaki est professeur et responsable du département des Systèmes d'Information et de Gestion des Opérations. Il occupe avec fierté la Chaire CMA CGM en « Durabilité et Analyse des Chaînes d'Approvisionnement ». En tant que directeur académique du module Opérations du programme Executive MBA de HEC, Sam met un point d'honneur à transmettre son savoir et à encourager les futurs leaders. Titulaire d'un doctorat en Management de l'INSEAD, il mène des recherches sur la prise de décision durable, la gestion des opérations et les politiques énergétiques.

Les recherches de Sam ont été publiées dans diverses revues de gestion et d'économie. Il a été honoré de recevoir plusieurs distinctions lors des compétitions INFORMS. En tant que co-directeur français du prestigieux prix Industrial Excellence Award, il contribue au rayonnement de la gestion opérationnelle dans les secteurs de la fabrication et des services à l'échelle internationale.

L'enseignement est une passion pour Sam. Il dispense des cours de gestion des opérations durables dans différents programmes universitaires et a eu l'honneur d'intervenir en tant que conférencier invité dans de nombreuses institutions de management de renom à travers le monde.
