Accuracy and HEC Paris celebrate the first anniversary of their partnership dedicated to Impact Finance

As a committed player in Impact Finance, Accuracy has reaffirmed its commitment to contribute to discussions on responsible financial issues alongside the HEC Center for Impact Finance Research.

Founded by the world-class business school HEC, known for its expertise in finance and sustainability, the HEC Center for Impact Finance Research aims to support research in Impact Finance, share its advances, and foster informed and effective public policy discussions within the field of financial innovation.

Both Accuracy and HEC share the conviction that the finance sector has a crucial role to play in addressing the economic, technological, environmental and societal challenges of our time. Not only does this sector increasingly support sustainable development goals and the incorporation of sustainability criteria in value creation processes, but the convergence of financial and ESG issues is leading to their joint integration in strategies and business models.

Financial innovation is a driving force behind these ongoing transformations, stemming from a growing awareness of climate risks among investors and stakeholders alike. This trend is evidenced by the exponential growth in capital invested in ESG funds and the rise of new assets, such as green bonds and sustainability-linked bonds.

Such a shift brings a new mission for the financial industry, going beyond its traditional role in financial intermediation: contributing to the challenges of a more sustainable and socially responsible economy.
For several years now, Accuracy has been supporting companies and their senior management and financial teams in integrating sustainability into strategies, governance and business models. It has done this through both quantifying the costs and opportunities related to these issues and assisting in the strategic definition and financing of sustainable or impact-driven business models, with the aim of accelerating the transition.

Since establishing this partnership, Accuracy has already gotten actively involved in the work of the HEC Center for Impact Finance Research, in particular by taking part in the kick-off event that marked the official launch of the initiative. The event was an occasion to interact with members of other partner companies, namely Géraldine Gouges from Rothschild & Co and Eric de Tessières from BNP Paribas.

This involvement illustrates Accuracy’s willingness not only to support the academic research, but also to become directly engaged in the discussions and strategic initiatives that are shaping the future of sustainable finance.

HEC Center for Impact Finance Research, a leading authority in cutting-edge research on Impact Finance, will enhance Accuracy’s strategic thinking and expertise in this area.

This collaboration represents a new phase in Accuracy’s long-standing relationship with HEC’s research ecosystem and students.

We are delighted to sign this partnership with HEC Paris, further strengthening the ties established between our two institutions over the years,” says Romain Proglio, a partner at Accuracy and HEC alumnus. “This partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to excellence in education and research, and our desire to make a meaningful contribution to advancing knowledge and practices in sustainable finance. Collaborating with such a prestigious institution as HEC Paris provides a unique opportunity to participate directly in shaping the next generation of finance leaders while supporting cutting-edge research.
